Very Cool.... Replay of the Season, and Hi Quality Downloads?

So as most of you know you can download 24 from MySpace now... This seems cool, until I realized even the free ones have a form of DRM on them that make it impossible to view in any other player than Windows Media. And there not even in HD. That sucks... Oh Well I guess I'll just buy the episodes. But in actual cool news.. Fox is going to replay 2 episodes back to back every Friday starting June 16th. Now that is cool... Currently I am compling information from our International Correspondent, Andy. Andy got to go to the London convention and got some footage and pics, can't wait!!! Looking forward to it Andy... look for a post and podcast soon!! and if havent already seen this...

I think that it's a windows media file is a good thing, because I can convert that and put it on my iRiver and watch in perpetuity.

The episodes you can get off iTunes, while dandy, are in the unconvertible format which means a no go on my iRiver.

After downloading the first free episode, the quality is quite clear, the sound is excellent, both on a set of laptop speakers and headphones, and on a 5.1 surround sound computer speaker system.

I however am incredibly disappointed that there are NO CLOSED CAPTIONS in this or the iTunes-available episodes. A complete waste of opportunity regarding marketing to a community of Deaf & Hard of Hearing Fans the appreciate and enjoy the show on a regular basis.

Maybe next season...
