Some Cast Changes..

I am very disappointed about these casting choices... i was very looking forward to Eddie Izzard being on 24, but apparently they are already killing people off this season! Eddir has been replaced by some guy I never heard of... And now this, I can't think of anything Chad was in that liked. BUT!!! I think this huge new cast, with all these high profile and respected actors means something big. My guess is there will be ALOT of death (as well as movie tie-in's) this upcoming season on 24. I think the deadpool should start now...

Peter Weller IS NOT coming back to 24.... i know.. you knew that...

But he does have a great looking show for history buffs. If you didnt know, he is a professor of history. Heres a info recap of Season 6 stufff... thanks to Josh from 24 Community Episode 6.0 Prequel. September 6th - It's basically Jack getting tortured in China and him saying nothing. Then you think he's gonna get to escape, but it's a trap. Source - Nina Myers at HQ Episode 6.1 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. Airdate - January 7th, 2007 Airtime: 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. August 25th - John, a production assistant on the show confirmed, "We premiere on January 7, 2007 with a 2 hour premiere." Source - Fox24Rules at the Fox forums August 24th - Director Jon Cassar is establishing the show's White House story, which has always been integral to the spy thriller set in the Counter Terrorist Unit in Los Angeles. The writers, it seems, have come up with a doozy: Wayne Palmer, the deceased former president's brother who was with him when he was assassinated, has become the leader of the free world. How this goes down, nobody is telling. But here he (D.B. Woodside) is, the first time viewers see him in the Oval Office, and in typical "24" fashion, things are not good. America is already under some form of terrorist attack when the season opens, and Jack, who was last seen literally on a slow boat to China, has been behind bars there for 20 months. Fayed beats and kicks Jack, then has him strapped to a chair and starts with a knife. Meanwhile, Morris is consoling Chloe, at work, because Buchanan gave the baddies Jack. Turns out 'Assad' is actually a good guy and 'Fayed' made it look like he was a baddie so CTU would kill him. Fayed set up Assad because he betrayed the cause. He tells this to Jack before he kills him, as all supervillians do, then steps out to take a call. Big mistake. Jack attacks the lone guard by biting his throat open. From Dixiehank at the 24 Community Ausiello: That scary bald dude/mastermind of all things evil played by ER's Paul McCrane is returning this season, and we'll meet his wealthy Bel-Air wife and their 15-year-old kid. Also, Fox put out a press release yesterday that pretty much revealed the entire premise for Season 6. Here it is in their words: "Season Five concluded with a battered and bloodied Bauer captured by Chinese government agents and headed for points unknown. Season Six picks up 20 months later. Wayne Palmer (DB Woodside), the strong-minded brother of the late President David Palmer, is now himself the President of the United States, while his sister, Sandra Palmer (Regina King), is a determined and powerful advocacy lawyer. Very Cool.... Replay of the Season, and Hi Quality Downloads?

So as most of you know you can download 24 from MySpace now... This seems cool, until I realized even the free ones have a form of DRM on them that make it impossible to view in any other player than Windows Media. And there not even in HD. That sucks... Oh Well I guess I'll just buy the episodes. But in actual cool news.. Fox is going to replay 2 episodes back to back every Friday starting June 16th. Now that is cool... Currently I am compling information from our International Correspondent, Andy. Andy got to go to the London convention and got some footage and pics, can't wait!!! Looking forward to it Andy... look for a post and podcast soon!! and if havent already seen this...

Not much, but some casting news....

Howard Gordon, has been leaking little bits of info around the internet. So as I stated I will try to report what I find, when I find it. So heres some roughage... So I have found that intial exploratory casting has rumored that a 'JFK Jr.' type of president which should turn into a recurring role, and a young, super intelligent and attractive mid 30's woman are being shopped around to major stars to fill. This is interesting since we just heard that Gordon has just begun to write episode one, and I think it gives us a nice look into the 24 writing style. Now no actors have been named for the presidental part only fan speculation that I can see. Ed Norton (YYESSS!!), Patrick Dempsey, Kenny Johnson (that would be interesting), and unlikely but defintely possible, Matthew Fox. The one somewhat verified casting, and personally I think is awesome, is Regina King has offered the role for the above said super woman role.

Yes its time to get ready to do it again!!! Did anybody try and had problems? Let me know I will help you out. When you log on you will see that I am the number 4 (last time I checked) TV-j, and we are gonna shoot for number one!! So what it is... Buddy TV is an interactive TV event. While your watching the show, I host an onliine forum for you to be a part of. You ask questions/ submit comments and I push them back out to the rest with any comment I add. I can talk to you guys, and I do, during commercials, we have trivia throught the session, and its just a general good time watching our favorite TV show with people from all over. I plan on starting the session 15 minutes before the show starts and leaving it open for 15 minutes after. After that I do my podcast which usually published at about midnight PST, so with what happens on the Buddy TV Session, has high probablity of influening the podcast! This is what I always wanted... a more interactive show, more listener influenced. This combined with email, voicemail, i get throught out the week can really make this podcast turn into a beacon of interactive light about our favorite show... 24! My 24 hour day...

ok ok ok so it wasnt a 24 hour day BUT IT WAS A LOOOOONNNGGGG DAY.... so sorry!!! Episode wont be up until tomorrow night.... BUT that gives you a chance to send me a voicemail to get into the show!! So my day started by running out of gas... trust me it got worse from there.. lets just say I got home in time to (8:45p) start the BuddyTV beta test and then watch 24! BTW... WTF!? I waasnt expecting that!!! anyway after that I had to wrap up the beta test, go get my wife who unexpectedly had to work a double, and I just got home... I have an hur of audio to edit from the roundtable yesterday with Brett. nd then I can record the podcast... So I have to be realistic, and say the podcast wont be pushed out until late tomorrow night.. Sorry about that guys and gals... but like i sadi heres your chance to get a voicemail in!!
